Short and sweet: delicious Italian/Czech food in a laidback cafe
The lunch specials are a great deal and come with soup or salad and homemade bread. The meat ravioli with Alfredo was wonderful. The service was as prompt as possible- they seemed short-staffed, with only one waitress at lunch time. I would assume that's not their normal. The little patio is very cute and the inside is homey and relaxing. Will definitely be going back! -

Ambience (5/5): Late night weekday dinner and so glad to have discovered this cute little gem. Small, cozy outside patio and an eclectic interior with decor that will make you smile!
Food (4/5): Delicious combination of Czech + Italian food. We ordered the potato pancakes, side of wurst and spinach cheese gnocchi. Food comes with some bread, which we promptly consumed. And the meal was delicious. The potato pancakes with salmon were crispy with the perfect amount of salt and seasonings. The gnocchi was quite creamy and rich, half of it went home. The wurst was juicy and a large portion too.
Service (4.5/5): We had the sweetest lady serving us and while we felt a little guilty showing up late, about 30 mins before close, she ensured that we stayed and enjoyed our meal. Did not feel rushed at all
Value (4/5): Good value for the quality and portion of food. We essentially got 3 servings from our dinner order. We'll definitely be going back again!

My favorite little east sac gem! This restaurant is very unassuming from the outside, but I quickly fell in love with it when I stumbled in here one night. We tried to eat at Cielito Lindo but they were closed due to a private event, so Yelp lead me here & what can I say, Yelp hardly ever does me wrong! This cute restaurant is small, but it has a hearty menu to full even the largest of bellies.
They have a good selection of Czech beers, main dishes & sides, like chicken paprika, goulash, schnitzels, sausages - basically all the dishes you eat when you travel to the Eastern European countries of Czech Republic, Hungary, even Germany. They also offer a variety of soups, salads, & pasta. But a surprise favorite of mine is their pizza! The dough is thick, soft and chewy, with a slight crisp on the bottom. The toppings are fresh and very plentiful! Like, one slice of pizza is a meal on its own since it's so bulky and rich. You can't go wrong with any flavor, though i do love the Chicken (with artichokes & garlic) or the Margherita Special (with chicken, spinach, artichokes, feta cheese). An 8" personal size would be much more than I could eat in one sitting, but I like to order a 12" small so I can have leftovers. This pizza reheats really well! I'm so used to eating thin crust pizzas everywhere, that this pizza is a nice mix up to that.
I could sing praises about their pizza all day, but you should go & try it for yourself! There's parking in nearby residential streets. And make a reservation if your group is large or you wanna eat at prime dinner time, cause it can get pretty crowded in this little restaurant! -

I pass by here all the time and never thought to stop in until I saw the reviews. The restaurant is small and cozy, the service was excellent. We ordered the breaded fried Brie as an appetizer, it came with a sour cream and chive aioli that was so good. For dinner we both ordered the ravioli in Alfredo sauce. My boyfriend loved the sausage you can get with the ravioli, he thought his ravioli was a little too al dente but I liked mine. I will definitely go back to try their pizza which is what other customers were eating and many to go orders were going out as well.
